Because potential Dress Borrowers/Buyers aren't able to touch the item, it important to list your dress with clear and detailed product descriptions. Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind when listing your dress.
1. Photos, Photos, and More Photos
A great photo can make a dress irresistible. Upload 3-5 photos of the dress. At a minimum, take shots that show the front, side, and back view of the dress. Its recommended to use a model. This will help shoppers envision how they will look in the dress. Refer to Tips for Taking the Perfect Pictures for more information.
2. Detailed Dress Info is Key
Accurate dress information is important. Provide shoppers the brand, dress name and description, size, color, and retail price. Because many of the items are gently used, you may not always have the complete info. We understand that you can only list what you know. If you can find the brand's size chart, listing it can make someone's day :)
3. Model Measurements Matter
Potential Dress Borrowers want context to sizing and fit. If you use a model, we recommend listing height, bust, waist, and hips measurements. Refer to Measurement Matters for more information.
4. Delivery Dos and Don't
Shoppers appreciate knowing delivery options up front. State whether local pick-up is available.
